I would like to extend my gratitude to Dr. Elna Chia and the great nurses at Mother Seton for the care they had given me during my short stay at the hospital. It made my hospital stay more bearable.
I never got a chance to say thank you to all of you who treated me with my emergency operation to remove an invader in my ovaries. Thank you…thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Life is a competition. Survival of the fittest, fight for what you want or someone else will take it. People don’t hold doors anymore. ~Unknown
“It has no time limit. You can start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best of it or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things that you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. And if you find you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”

I came across this quote earlier today. Things have a way of working out! I find this quote so true. This is all life is about. We might plan and plan about everything in life. We think that all our plans are right for us as of this moment. However, sometimes it does not go exactly how you want it to be. When things go horrible in my life, I first think that wow, that is awful and makes me feel bad about it. Life is not fair (“Self-Pity!” – whine, whine, whine) but truly, things happen for a reason. When you analyzed an event in your life in the long run, you say, “hey, that is not as bad as it is.” For the bad things that go wrong are actually good things that need time and perspective so do not sweat the small things in life as it will eventually workout on your favor or someone else.
Sometimes the most unorthodox things have a way of working out – who knows!
Do you agree with me?

I am a firm believer of Law of Attraction and I practice it on a daily basis. It helped me a lot in my life and I would like to share my tips to all of you. When I want and dream of something but don’t have it yet; I have the habit of saying, I will _________. Then, I say the date and the year. It comes true most of the time. Sometimes, right away but sometimes, it takes awhile. But point is, put it in your head, what you want. Then, continuously think of it.
• Mark it
• Write it down
• Create a dream board
• Put it on the fridge
• A whiteboard
• Even your diary
• Create a word file
• Go to Pinterest and create a PIN board
With prayers, a belief and lastly, perseverance; you will eventually get it. But don’t just sit down and expect grace to come to your life, you will have to work on it the same time.
So, what are your tips?
Today, I am posting another picture of the beggar in the Naga City market steps. This pic I took when I was leaving the market. I find that street pictures are more powerful especially the ones that speak of poverty. This beggar is just one of a billion people struggling, not for their shelter and belongings but they struggle with their life day to day. Usually people born with poverty never get out of it. If their parents are born below the poverty line; usually, the children grow up the same way. A sad reality not just in my country but all over the world.
Sorry again for not posting lately. I have been busy but loving it. Anyways, I have been collecting pictures since I moved here in Naga City. I will try to do one picture post a day and show you around my province.
The picture was taken today in Naga City Market steps. I had to go and check out the markets for a wedding give away. No, I am not getting married. I am very single. This is for somebody else. Anyway, I spent the afternoon snapping up pictures of native handicraft bags. So every time I go to the market, I see this beggar. I always stop by and give money to the beggar upon leaving. It just breaks my heart. I asked him to smile to me but he was very shy. I think this photograph is very symbolic because despite the big economic improvement in my province; I still see a lot of poverty when I am out and about. Mostly these beggars have syndicates; they have a master. Despite knowing this, I still give money because how can you not too?
