Keep all Filipinos safe.

My sister and my cousin is in a safe haven right now. Thanks to my sister-in-law. Love yah! They had to escape the floods in Provident Village, Marikina. The flood is continuously rising and it is about to reach the second floor of the house.  The last devastation my aunt and my sister experienced was Typhoon Ondoy on 2009. My 70+ year old aunt stayed for 24 hours in the rooftop till they were rescued. She was able to salvage most of her belongings but my sister lost everything she had even her clothes. It took several months to keep the house in tiptop shape and make the house livable again.

Now, another devastation, the worst since 2009 when hundreds died in rampaging flash floods, was set off by the seasonal monsoon that overflowed major dams and rivers in Manila and surrounding provinces. Now, they have to relive the Typhoon Ondoy again.

Dear God,

Please let this continuous rain come to an end.

Save us from further calamities

by embracing our country

with your protection grace

and merciful blessings.
