Veils of morning mist
enshroud the floresta,
golden light of sunrise
backdrops the scene. Doves
coo, night creatures go
silent in slumber, a stillness
prevails in anticipation of
dawn. A new day begins.

How will this day unfold?
Will I use it well? Will it
be a day of small wonders
stacked lovingly with
thoughtful care?
