HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO EVERYONE!!!!
It’s Cinco de Mayo,
a Mexican celebration
and commemoration
of pushing Napoleon out of Mexico.
A slight breeze
tickles the green, orange and white fringe
strung over the plaza.
Vendors are setting up their booths:
BBQ brisket burritos,
smoked turkey legs,
quesadillas,
pork rinds”¦.
No vegans are in sight
and no French is heard.

My favorite cocktail drink especially on a warm day. I need to be reminded though that it has alcohol content as I tend to drink it like lemonade and get really tipsy. 😉
