What the sea does to me!

When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused. Rainer Maria Rilke

  9. I love Rilke and this quote has always given voice to my sense of the sea. I actually hope to move there in the not-too-distant future. The challenges of recent years gives me the sense of having earned this peace.
