Friendship is never anything but sharing

“Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing.”

Elie Wiesel

Help me interpret this quote? ;)

  1. Love, Empathy and Compassion are the greatest of all human affections, and Friendship the noblest and most refined improvement of Love. It matters not in which order they flow. By Friendship I mean the greatest Love and the greatest usefulness, and the most open communication, and the noblest sufferings, and the heartiest counsel and the greatest union of mind and spirit of which two souls are capable. At its heart lies Intimacy, for when we are intimate with someone we are simultaneously being intimate with ourselves. What emerges from this exquisite seduction is the Elegance, Grace and Splendour of a flowering Radiant red Rose.

      1. Hi Jennifer,

I believe words take on a power of their own: in a sense, they are alive. One of the most beautiful things about reading an established Blog is how the words an author chooses allows the light from within to constantly shine forth in a very different manner to when the author is physically speaking. As a result, an the writer always chooses their words with a much greater degree of care so as to express their inner truth more clearly. I would imagine Jennifer that someone like you, writing as you have done, has a good many friends.

        Have a happy weekend.

        Namaste 🙂
