The Soap Bubble, Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin, 1739

So happy I have found this painting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I once painted this picture in blue monochrome but sadly I did not have a picture remembrance of the painting I made years ago nor did I have a remembrance from the group exhibit in Ayala Museum of Art in Makati Philippines. I remember an art critic approached me and really liked my painting and gave me a really nice compliment. Okay, I was lucky that I was able to see the original painting in Los Angeles Museum of Art.

One day, I will reproduce the painting of Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin. Only better!

Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin (2 November 1699 – 6 December 1779) was an 18th-century French painter. He is considered a master of still life,[1] and is also noted for his genre paintings which depict kitchen maids, children, and domestic activities. Carefully balanced composition, soft diffusion of light, and granular impasto characterize his work.
