********

Angelo Antonio Maristela is a multidimensional international Filipino artist who has secured himself a spot in the highly competitive world of arts. His works are recognised for excellence and he has won awards on several painting competitions which includes being one of the finalists in the Philip Morris Art Awards.

Angelo can bring a lifeless object to life. He is a gifted natural hyper-realist painter and has gainedmastery in the art of portrait making.  Angelo’s style can accommodate different requirements—from abstracts, impressionism to realism; marrying a vast range of hues and figures on his canvas for his corporate and commercial projects in the Philippines, USA and Qatar.

Based in Doha Qatar since 2009, his wonderful art works now hang in some of the most exclusive residential and commercial villas across the city and the Pearl, Qatar. His latest abstract series iscurrently being showcased at Bilal Pearl Suites, a 7-star residential haven at Pearl Qatar.  While some of his hyper-realism artworks are gracing the interiors of Sizzling Hotpot, a newly-opened Asian restaurant in the Holiday Villa Hotel.

His artworks have been gaining popularity in the country and overseas and have been featured for a number of times in popular Qatari magazines and Angelo has been interviewed on Qatar TV. He has showcased his works in international exhibitions including the Art Encounter in Las Vegas, Nevada, the largest gallery in the state to join their dynamic roster of artists. He has also been invited to an exhibit in the Philippine Center, New York back in 2006. In September, he has two exhibitions that will be happening simultaneously—one in Biennale 2015, Italy and in Katara– at the exclusive and only Cultural Village in Doha, Qatar.

This artist’s ultimate vision is to leave a lifetime legacy to preserve the culture and events through his timeless paintings for the next generations to appreciate and enjoy.

Aura Elite Magazine (UK): Filipina Visual Artist Aze Ong And Her Crochet Installation Art

My fifth contribution – Aura Elite Magazineb Issue 5 (Julie Ann Cover) “Filipina Visual Artist Aze Ong and Her Crochet Installation Art.”

Thank you Dee Sanchez, Chief Editor of Aura and  thank you Aze Ong of Assemblage of Aze Ong. Love your work.

*********

Originally from Antipolo and now based in Quezon City, Aze Ong was a volunteer teacher assigned to the mountains of Bukidnon. Here she was inspired by the culture of the Talaandig tribe. She firmly believes that art and life must flow together. Her artworks are a realization of experiences of enlightenment nature. She treats them like her own having personalities, characteristics and feelings.

Aze Ong’s work has been showcased even by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts, as well as various galleries and exhibit spaces. Most recently, at the MWS Mussafah Abu Dhabi Art Hub entitled “I Love You Mosque,” with her performance to a traditional Arabic music.

Her art is spontaneously created without patterns, standards, formulas, sketches or studies—the kind you’d never see in real life as they’ve been tucked away and brought together to provide a dreamworld experience. She hopes to share her light and creativity with everyone.

Princess Margaret is a self-taught artist, business owner, art teacher, and an active member of Art Association of the Philippines and Pinoy na Pinoy Visual Artists Association, Inc. since 2014.

She may be new in the art world, but art is a great part of her life.

She sees her talent as a blessing than a skill as she is a co-owner with her best friend (Janis Khiong) of a small art-school—Artventure Art Center for children and those with special needs.

“Artventure believes that art has the capacity to engaging the youth regardless of physical, emotional or developmental abilities one step at a time. It has power and wisdom beyond words.”

Art education is essential to the development of the whole child. Artventure provides art with so much heart.

ART JOURNEY

She sees this creative journey as a spiritual one to commune with God, express, inspire, and be enlightened to deeper self-discovery and continuous transformation.

As she listens to the creator within, her faith gives sight as she is her own muse and therefore, is allowed to nurture her artistic creativity.

And the longer she spends time on making art, the more she realizes that mood has nothing to do with creating beautiful works of art.

“It really comes and flows freely deep from the heart and soul, and the spirit playing the most part. This creative gift leads me to truth and love. And I am always willing to learn, grow and let the spirit create through me as I do all things with so much love and peace,” she quotes.

*******

Thank you Princess Margaret!!

I will never forget what you said, “If it is meant for me, it will never miss me.”

Continue your artistic prowess. You are extremely talented and a rising sunshine to many!!!
